Did you go to high school in the U.S.? Did the story have a geographical setting and a particular time period?
Sara, you will get more clicks if you put plot details into your header. If you are unable to do this a mod can do it for you.

It's not a tweak. It depends which version of the Bible you're reading. This is an accurate quote from the King James Bible.

I did attend high school in the U.S. I'm afraid I have no further memories of the plot beyond the fact that the convict was holding the girl (or she was with him consensually)and at the end the authorities had found them. The major part of the story was his conversation with her. I'm unsure if the setting was English or American or what the man was being sought for. I would say the time period was early-mid Twentieth Century, maybe 1920s or 1930s.

I would very much appreciate your doing it for me. I am not very computer savvy, I'm afraid.
And, yes, Meredith, Mike is correct. This is a completely accurate quote from the KJV. It was used precisely this way in the story.
