ok so
you use this and between the quotation marks you put the link into them and then put in the dimentions in height between the quoation marks and the same for width
ok you click on some HTML is ok in the righthand corner and copy and paste the image link and follow my directions

Can you see it? I can do gifs from websites like giphy becasue they are made for html but i am not sure about images, here's a gif

Also there is a preview button beside "post" you can click it to see if it works. And maybe try this link and see if it works

I can't just give you the link to copy and paste, Goodreads automatically turns it into an empty image thingy
so you take the link , delete this part {width="40" height="100" alt="description"/>}
And then paste the link of your image between the quotation marks (Goodreads is still pretty terrible, ik)
