Well my argument to that is that the mom is Jude's too. It's not fair to her at all to have her completely taken away from Jude, and for Jude to be completely forgotten about. That and Noah deliberately sabotages Jude's work

But I understand his yearning to connect with someone especially with the disconnect he has with his father and sometimes his sister. Like I wanted to cry when Jude came barging into his room asking him why he has to act like him all the time? Like why? I find her kinda bitchy for that D: And I completely understand why he does that because he didnt get into his dream school! lol I'm trying to keep an open mind for the rest of the book. D:

7%: (view spoiler)[ The quotes before the book are really great. My favourite is "Where there is great love, there are always miracles" by Willa Cathers. I think the quotes at the beginning set the tone of the book. It tells you that growing up will not be an easy road, especially when you are different. However, if you are surrounded by love and goodness, then life will be a happy experience. I really love Jandy Nelson's writing style. It is interesting to see the younger years through Noah's eyes and the older years through Jude's eyes. The family dynamic is very different in this book as the parents are very different. Both the mother and father show favoritism to one of the children. Mom favors Noah, and dad favors Jude. (hide spoiler)]

I am surprised that Noah did not get into art school, but Jude did. It doesn't seem fair to me. I find the Englishman creepy. I do wonder why he is obsessed with taking Jude's photo. I think their relationship went sour after the death of their mother, as their father shows more favouritism toward Jude than Noah. Hence, he feels like he is left out because he has no one to turn to anymore. (hide spoiler)]

Although, it was told in the last chapter, it is difficult if the mother dies because moms are the true support for all the children. I do not think it was nice of Noah to destroy all of Jude's photos. I wonder who sent her sand angel photo to CSA. I am thinking it was her dad or maybe Noah as an apology. I really like Noah more than Jude. Jude seems to get everything she wants, and Noah has to earn everything he gets. I feel more emotionally attached to Noah for that reason as everyone feels like they have to earn what they get in life. It is the fighter's spirit in a way. (hide spoiler)]

I think she had not shown that much of an interest before because Noah's way to express himself was through art. I think there is more to what happened between the twins than just Noah's jump off of Devil's Drop where he almost drowned. I hope Oscar is not toying around with Jude's feelings. I think they could have a real, genuine relationship if they truly allow themselves to explore that option. However, I think Oscar could better himself more to be the man who is worthy of loving Jude wholehearted. However, the blurb said this is a story of betrayals as well, so maybe he is toying with her emotions. I want to know who was the recipient of Jude's hush stone angel's wish. I hope it was for Noah, but I feel like it might be for Oscar. (hide spoiler)]

Ending Thoughts: (view spoiler)[ The ending was so sweet. I loved how she told the story in dual perspective. Also, I like how she separated Noah and Jude's perspectives. It is interesting to read the earlier years through Noah's perspective, and the older years through Jude's. I loved the story besides the fact that Jude and Noah kept hurting each other. That really made me sad. I can't wait to read The Sky is Everywhere. (hide spoiler)]

I did start on time but it took me a bit longer to listen to on audio book than I had thought. Finished now (view spoiler)[ The best bit about this book I thought was how both characters were at a different time in their life.
