I had this book pop into my brain earlier today and this is all I can seem to remember. I know it’s not much but it’s the best I could do. I’ve tried google, many different variations of what I have typed next but nothing seems to come up. I believe I read this book no more than 10 years ago, so anywhere from 2011-2016 was when I probably would have read it. Please help!!

Someone in the family died or got really sick

Girl and twin brother go to Hawaii to visit their dad for summer vacation

Girl loves the water, does competition swimming, teaches swimming lessons in backyard pool

Goes to a big beach party, plays chicken on a guys shoulders in the ocean, possibly get sick and throws up on him (I totally could have made that up lol)

Goes on a date with that boy, he works at a resort in Hawaii

They do a waterfall hike and have a picnic

The boy loves to surf, starts to teach the girl how

They have a fight

They end up back together in the end
