The Unquiet Dead question

"Just completed second act and the clues are all lined up. This read is up to the hype. Murder mystery, historical novel, strong female protagonist, smooth writing style and believable characters. An all together satisfying read. I will withhold final say until completion of third act although I do not expect to be disappointed." — That said, I am still wondering why so many more women than men are reading this book...it can't be because the author is a woman...can it?
