Thank you Nell. You must have posted while I was listing my books.I have a friend, an overseas Ph D student staying with me at the moment. His home is in the tropics, and he’s been stuck in the coldest part of Australia for two years due to COVID.
He was booked to fly home two weeks ago, but passenger flights to his home country were suspended the day before he was due to fly out.
We live in hope he can get home next week, but this involves a three hour trip across a state border which could close at any minute! Several of our states are in various forms of lockdown, and he needs to get two negative COVID tests to travel.

Thanks Conni! I have never read this series before and I found out the 2nd book does not come out til 09/07/21. I will try to find something else by this author. That was my mistake when I picked this author. I usually read all the books in my listed in this challenge.

Loved your story, Helen! Imagine finding the books at a remote pub?
In a prior months post I indicated I hoped to be back for August. Such was not to be as my father the 96 year old WW 2 vet had a stroke on July 3rd. To complicate thing the rehab center the hospital sent him to, damn near murdered him. We got him to the local VA hospital last Friday and he is doing better but will not likely return to his pre-stroke status. Sorry to be such a downer of late. I am still working on my second book from June.
Gary, that is so hard. Hope your dad is as comfortable as possible, and you and the rest of the family can see him.
Gary, you're going through a difficult time with your dad. Take good care of him and yourself. My best wishes to you all!
Whoa, I'm really sorry to hear this. Hugs and prayers to you and your dad, Gary. And very positive thoughts for the best.
Gary, I am so sorry to hear of the medical issues going on just when you thought things were on the uptick. I can completely understand just what you are going through as I went through that with my grandfather. Once we got him to a good place, he lived an additional 9 years (Half a year prior, when all this started, the doctor gave him 6 months since he had highly advanced prostate cancer - it was traveling all through spine up to the brain.) The point is always think the positive and bring the positive when you visit. They DO feel YOUR feelings! Love and prayers to you, your dad, and the rest of the family. 🤗💖
