romantic suspense - stalker ex returns to destroy heroines life again as he won't leave her alone and is punishing her through her boyfriends/ love interests/ male friends

Romance book - synopsis: School girl becomes homeless and boy from school offers her the use of the school shed he has access to through his dad (who I think might be the grounds keeper). He becomes obsessive and abusive until she is able to get away to collage on a scholarship (I think). He finds her when she's out on a date with a collage boy. He rapes her and assaults her then carves his name into her back. Later in the book while her room mate is away on break he breaks in and ties her to the bed. When the room mate comes back and sees her she calls her dad who is a cop and tries to free the girl. He comes back attacks her.
I can't remember much else from the story other than he comes back in the future and this sparks a romance between her and the hero.

Can't remember when I read this but was possibly around 2 to 3 years ago. I'm dyslexic so I hope that I haven't mixed up the details above.
