Chapters 41 - 50

So I zoomed through the chapters so far. I meant to post my thoughts but didn't want to stop reading. I finally stopped at chapter 42 so everything I say now will be up to that point.

Well, we lost Deen but we gained Benyamin. I think he's my favourite now, then Altair. Nasir still isn't badass, idk if he ever will be. And Zafira...I don't know if I like her or not. She's just there to move the story along tbh.

I know this won't be about her and Benyamin but I wish it was, I ship it. Literally anyone but Nasir. Altair keeps getting more mysterious and I want to see how far his spy storyline goes.

And am I liking it so far? Yes. But, I was expecting more. I've been dying to read it since 2019 and I was hoping it would be one of my faves. So far it doesn't seem like it'll be a top fav which is a bit sad. Maybe it'll turn around in the other half.

Omg yes I'm loving Benyamin too. Honestly, because I wasn't expecting anything from this book, the characters are starting to grow on me, specially Altair and Zafira. Even tho I still don't like Nasir very much, he's just very cliche, their fight earlier was really entertaining.

I'm just praying that the author handles their romance very carefully, that's all I can hope for at this point.
