Yeah they are true and maybe you read these lines first time in this book, but honey, it ain't original. Alaska is not a poetic person and those lines neither suit her nor relate with what she said earlier. And if she's poetic, then she sure doesn't act like it. People have different ways of dealing with thier shit, Alaska is all over the place. I am having a hard time understanding her and I can change my mind if she helps me..

Well.. living is the obvious choice for a normal person. And if you have been through a lot of shit, a person who chooses to live >>> a person who wants to die. Well.. my father is a closed off person, one day he comes back from office and says that I am starting smoking today and I want to die of lung cancer.. 1) he won't even say that if he doesn't want to talk about it. 2) even if he doesn't we.. his family and all his friends won't just let him be. That.. is a problem. With her friends and herself because she's friends with them just for the fun of it. Understanding is important, trust is also important.. "talking" is emotionally and scientifically proven medicine.

40% : I had kept my pace really slow all this time in hopes that the plot would get better, but I don't see that happening and I have pretty much figured out the carachters. • I forgot the page no. I left my book at and I am not reaching for it again, but most probably "1 day before" chapter is the next.

• So her mom died like that. Ok... Honestly it was quite shocking to me. Not the fact that ok-my-god her mom has died, how horrible, protect my baby.. nope. It would be a shock that any human would feel when they hear of such moment of vulnerability. I knew her mother had died (I don't know where I heard that maybe someone's review) but the fact that it happens that way.. Although, Alaska doesn't win the round. She lacks the emotions when she tells the story. She's talking about it for the first time, I guess.. it's understandable that she's numb. But.. she must have planned to tell the truth in her head. She could have easily lied, Alaska is definitely not afraid of drinking, but I am so pissed that she doesn't tell me how she feels about it and no one fuckin' questions her! They are acting like it happens everyday your dies in front of you and you sit there and your dad blames you for it. I might sympathise with Alaska, poor thing. But her friends!! These pathetic friends!! Ughhhhh

• Miles. Tf is his problem? Ever since he arrived Culver Creek he is acting like "girls", "female" are new species and OH GAWD all of them look yummy!!
