I’m so glad that the boys are all getting closer because of their search, and the way they’re all in so much pain; how can they not all be mates?? I really need to go to bed now, it’s nearly 3 in the morning but it’s just so damn good!!! The sex scene was a bit inappropriate to me; I mean she was literally JUST back from being kidnapped for a long time, and the first thing they do is have sex??? I’m sorry, but do you do anything else in this relationship??? Kinda hated that. It was hot, sure, although I really don’t have a blood fetish so that was intense 😂 I liked all the boys together because she hadn’t really had that yet, but the poses made me laugh😂😂 Like hanging upside down, really?😂 Anyhow, I love the development of the relationships between the boys and I honestly love that more than their relationships with Elise, because those relationships don't really change at all.

I love that Eugene fought back!! Finally! And his scene with Ryder was quite funny lol. Can’t believe Eugene was friends with Bryce, but I’m guessing Ryder will make Bryce release Eugene of his star bond so he doesn’t always have so much bad luck.

I’m glad they struck a deal, but I definitely knew it was too good to be true. Ryder’s people will not be okay with it and they’ll do something to break the deal, won’t they..? (hide spoiler)]

I feel some type of way about her new family, mostly her aunt. I don’t know if she’s truly trustworthy, dumb, or just a smart council schemer because she’s already lied to Elise a few times on some things. She magically drugged her to tell all and now almost seems to be using Elise for the publicity. She doesn’t seem all that concerned about King and it’s annoying because she really does have the power to help.

Hope King’s not like her new uncle or something, that’s be lame. I don’t think it’s the aunt but then again I also don’t think it’s someone who is a current council member anyways. At this point I still don’t know what to think and I’m almost loving Elise and her mates doing some family bonding so much that I wonder if I’ll even feel some type of way when King’s identity is finally revealed. I mean I would hope it’s super shocking and mind blowing but goodness this storyline needs to end already…. And Gareth, I need answers. He better not be dead after all this 😤🤭😮

Finished (view spoiler)[I’m literally so sad to be done. Feels like I spent so much time with these characters it’s going to be hard letting them go. Im devastated over Gareth really being gone. In one respect I get it, we already prepared for him to be dead from the start but that small smidgen of hope took over and the pain Elise is feeling is real.

I hate that there’s a few threads left open as far as Gabriel’s backstory. And Rory being in jail for sooooo long. I don’t understand why Lionel got to live. After as his conniving evil ways I wanted blood and for a second it seemed like that’s what fate wanted. I mean Gabriel even said thousands of atrocities would be stopped with his death but alas….. 😢🥵😢🤬

I really loved the extended epilogue. The guys as fathers, I mean I couldn’t ask for more especially their over protectiveness of their daughter. Gabe having the sight I’m sure made the years very interesting for them all.

I am def all about more of Rosalie though, seems like maybe she’ll get a harem too, Rory and maybe Ethan? I dunno I’m all about it though because she was a pretty awesome alpha in the making and how could I not love and appreciate a badass female heroine. This book was by far my favorite and I really loved this series even if some of these plot line dragged on to the ends of time lol (hide spoiler)]

Leon being the only one beyond excited just made the joining much better. He was like a kid at Christmas! Oh man this makes me think how unbearable and annoying he must actually be during the holidays. He's just so much adrenaline and energy!

I think Gabe's reluctance is what makes the universe take so long joining him with Elise. He for whatever reason has so many internal things going on (especially denial) it's like he's never even open or ready for it anymore and gave up on them being mated completely.

The fight was really confusing, I had no clue what was real and what wasn’t damn. I’m glad Ryder didn’t die. I love the reactions of Dante’s family, but it makes me feel bad for Ryder because his gang doesn’t have his back like Dante’s :( And FINALLY the stone is explained! But it needs blood - can’t Elise just access it anyway? I mean she can access anything else by Gareth but not this..?

I don’t care for Rosalie, but I loved the scene with her and Ryder. He’s really opening up to others and he took on such a brotherly/fatherly role here, I loved it!
Note to self; it’s not smart to read this at night when others are sleeping😂😂😂😂 I laughed so damn hard holy shit, I loved the drunken scenes. It’s obvious that she’ll have to drain King after all - there’s already too much foreshadowing of her ‘only doing it if it’s absolutely necessary’. Well we all know her so I’m 10000000% sure she’ll end up doing it.
