Yeah, I am surprised too! I will be uploading the review soon, but I did like some aspects. It was very great in terms of Fantasy, and very dark, and those parts were really fun.

Ohh 😬

I agree 💯

Yeah, I agree! I love Elide and Manon and Dorian. But at this point, I'm not rooting for Rowan and Aelin. Their relationship is totally unrealistic, and Rowan is only there to be her guard- or someone who also grabs their sword if someone dares to contradict Aelin. I mean, others have literally been through a lot too. Aelin really got on my nerves this time.

They have now been separated, so there hasn't been scenes with both of them. But I'm sure there is more to come. Aelin's scenes has been better now, but I feel it's really hard to relate to her. There has explained so little about her emotions/feelings and that makes it hard

I hope you enjoy the books ♡

I have Aarja here still, I think. I think I try to keep this pacing so that I get this read.
I have read 40 chapters now.
That part/war at the Skull's Bay was a bit long, but now they continued their journey. And Manon is now with them, can't wait to see what happens now! Elodin's story has been more interesting now. So I have to say I have enjoyed this and more than what I expected. There is so much happening and that keeps things interesting

I like more & more Eledin & Locklan. I just love their chemistry. Scene where they escaped was so thrilling, I enjoyed while reading that chapter so much! Aledion's story is not so thrilling, they are just sailing right now xD But I'm glad that Manon is now with them. But now I cant to wait to see what was that about Feyras (or something) not being who they thought he would o.O

Yeah, Elide and Lorcan are cute!

Characters were mostly so amazing, but this didn't include the main character xD But this was really epic story, I love the world. But this was partly boring, there were several phases when I hoped something to happen. But some scenes were really thrilling!

I fully agree, Aelin was sometimes irritating. Also, literally, everyone would 'reach for their swords' if someone even dares to speak out their opinion, which is different than Aelin. I think this just shows that Aelin may not be fit for ruling, or not a 'natural'. It's just iterative.

Exactly, she isn't even the queen yet. It's as if SJM doesn't understand politics.
