Prisoner of Azkaban 9
Chamber of Secrets 8
Goblet of Fire 8
Sorcerer (philosopher)'s Stone 7
Order of the Phoenix 7
Deathly Hallows 6
Half Blood Prince 3 (actually had trouble finishing this one)

What's YOUR ranking?

Well here is what I have so far in my book experience:
Sorcerer's Stone- 8
Chamber of Secrets- 7

Goblet of fire 9.7
Prisoner of Azkaban 9.3
Deathly hallows 9
Order of the Phoenix 8.7
The sorcerer's stone 8.3
Half blood prince 8

Halfblood prince 10
Deathly hallows 10
Goblet of fire 9
Chamber of secrets 8
Order of the phoenix 8
Sorcerers stone 8
Prizoner of Azkaban 7
Best to worst (1 to 10):
Sorcerer's Stone (2)
Chamber of Secrets (3)
Order of the Phoenix (4)
Prisoner of Azkaban (5)
Deathly Hallows Part 1 (6)
Deathly Hallows Part 2 (7)
Half Blood Prince (8)
Goblet of Fire (10)
Inspite of not entirely conforming to the books, I really enjoyed the first two films, simply because of the atmosphere they were able to capture. It was eerie, mysterious, and overall magical. The ones which came afterwards seemed more aligned to the whimsy of the books, yet for me made the films feel two-dimensional.
The Prisoner of Azkaban got most things right, but the one that came afterwards- The Goblet of Fire- was easily the worst in the... is it saga? ...Anyway, you couldn't take anyone seriously with their excessive hairstyles, nor could you take Voldemort seriously with his lack of nasal-based breathing capabilities. Dumbledore's crankiness was also difficult to find patience with... and the band playing "Can You Dance like a Hippogryph?" at the ball... the list goes on.
The films improved afterwards, so overall they did fairly well. There were little issues I had, but then since each person seems to think of the series a little differently, I suppose that's inevitable. At least it didn't turn out like Eragon, or The Battle of the Five Armies.
