Eden Rogan suddenly shows up on Lucy & Sean’s doorstep, two weeks before the wedding, saying she’s come early. Lucy knows nothing about her or Liam and just tries to be hospitable. In hindsight, it’s obvious Kane erred in not be forthcoming with Sean about these two. But, should he have suspected they might show up looking for those bonds? Should someone have at least told them they were thieves?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments The whole Eden/Liam deal was handled badly. I want to think that Kane believed he was doing the right thing, but after meeting their parents, I think Kane just brushed it aside because he didn't think.

It was a big mistake not to tell Sean and Lucy about the bonds. Kane used them without sharing the danger in the safe. That situation had no where to go but wrong.

Also, Kane needed to let Sean know that the twins were thieves maybe he wouldn't invite them to the wedding, but we would have missed a great story. They weren't going to stay in Europe forever regardless.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments Sean should have been told the tale of the bonds when he was given custody of them. He needed to know the whole story. Kane thought the bonds and Sean and Lucy would be safe because no one outside RCK knew Sean had the bonds. Error in Judgment on Kane's part. I understand why Kane didn't tell Sean about Liam and Eden. He didn't want to destroy their image in Sean's eyes.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I think Kane thought if the only people who knew about the bonds were part of a security company, no one would ever find out about them. Liam and Eden would be in the dark about who had them. Kane didn't expect anyone in the company to leak the information, even if it was innocent.

I do think he should have given Sean the background about the bonds when they were put in the safe. Sean could have decided if he wanted them in his house or back to RCK immediately.

I think Kane used good judgment in not shattering Sean’s image of his two siblings…up until he gave those bonds to him for safekeeping. As soon as he placed those bonds in his hands for safekeeping, he needed to let him know the threat that went along with them. It was just crazy considering there was also a federal agent living in that house. This was a big error on Kane’s part and I include Rick Stockton in that decision as well.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments I don't think anyone thought about them coming for the bonds. Kane thought they didn't know where they were and no one had heard from them in so long. It's possible that Sean would not have held onto the bonds if he knew the truth, though.
