Shinde (shindesweety) | 3 comments Hello
I manually added my book by ISBN. It shows link to Amazon.in.
But am unable to add Infibeam/ Flipkart or other links manually.

My ISBN url is : http://www.infibeam.com/Books/arjun-w...

I copy-pasted this url to ISBN-13 column.
Now I got instruction to replace my ISBN by #ISBN13#.

So I modified my url as : http://www.infibeam.com/Books/arjun-w...

I also tried modifying as : http://www.infibeam.com/Books/arjun-w...

Beyond this stage, I keep getting 'unexpected error' message.
Please guide. Arjun Without a Doubt by Sweety Shinde

Paula (paulaan) | 332 comments The buy a copy links are set by each user, they are not book or author specific.

Where are you modifying the URL?

Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) The ISBN fields shouldn't get url info.

Like Paula, I'm not sure where you think are trying to add the bookseller url either. At your request, a librarian can set the "official url" field for you to a book data page on an author, publisher or official series website—neither the isbn fields nor the official url field can go to a bookseller site or purchase link (exception if official author/publisher page also direct sells the book).

Unless infibeam is the book publisher, I don't think you can set a url to that site. Nor set a direct purchase link (goodreads members set what vendors they wish to use or just leave settings to goodreads default).

You can, in your own review of book, put that url. And, of course, can post it in your author status updates.

[If you are adding that URL to or selecting from your own member account book links, thise links work best letting the infibeam link search for isbn or title instead off enting a specific page address. It also only sets the link for your account, note or a any other goodreads member. Members of goodreads who custimize their book links to shop at infibeam will likely set to shop at infibeam for more than just your book so would not likely choose that url.]

Shinde (shindesweety) | 3 comments Hello
When I clicked on 'Get a copy' tab for Amazon.in , it works fine. But the others lie Rediff, Infibeam, Landmarkonthe net show ISBN not found.
So I went o Goodreads help section, which directed me to following set of instrutions:
"Instructions to Add a Book Link -

1.Pick an ISBN and do a search for it on the catalog you are adding
2.On the search result page, grab the URL from the browser. If it contains the ISBN you searched for, replace it with #ISBN#, and you have your ISBN url.
3.If it doesn't contain the ISBN you searched for, you may want to ask the administrator of the site.
4.To find the title url, repeat the same steps as you used to find the isbn url."

So, where does the exact problem lie? Is it possible for me to delete ISBN10 from my book detail, since my Publisher seems to have added only ISBN13 to most of these retailer sites. Is that the reason I get an error message?
Please help.

Marilyn (MLakewood) | 2 comments Hi,
I hope I'm posting this question in the right place.

The Amazon tab on my book's GR page https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... doesn't connect to Amazon.

Is there a way to fix this?
Thank you for your help. Marilyn

Gayatri (gayatri_gadre) | 1 comments I am facing the same problem, I created my book in Goodreads as it was available on a website earlier, now I have moved it to Amazon Kindle and can't find a way to edit the URL for Amazon button for my book. Here is a link to my book - https://www.amazon.in/Off-Beats-Uniqu...
