Team Leader
There will be two team leaders per team. Their duties include:
1. Make sure each entry made by team members and the corresponding points are correct.
2. Ensure that each member follows rules of the challenge.
3. If a member is absent in the team/not contributing to the team you can contact them/inform Mods.
4. Keep a track of total team points.

The two team leaders can divide up the responsibilities as they like.

Type: Teams

About the Challenge:-

1. There will be 3 teams based on all time famous books:

Team Harry Potter
Team The Hunger Games
Team Percy Jackson

2. Each team has a list of 8 characters.( Find the lists below)
And each character has their own list of 8 prompts(which will be revealed by 28th June PST)
3. The participant will have to choose a team and a character.
4. There will also be some common team tasks to complete. One team task will be counted as complete if 4 team members 3 team members buddy read together for it.
5. The three teams will be competing against each other throughout the challenge duration.

Rules:-
1. Each member of a team will have to complete at least 4 individual prompts of the character they are.
2. Each team as a whole will have to complete 4 team tasks at least, to qualify.
3. Each book read must be at least 150 pages to count.
4. A review must be a paragraph to count for scores.
5. One book qualifies only for one prompt but one prompt can be used for more than one book. Although, the team tasks can only be completed once by a team.
6. Each participant must check into their teams by 7th July failing which, they will be given one warning. If they still don’t check in, they’ll be replaced.
7. The team can request for a team member replacement in case they don't contribute to team points.

Scoring:-

1. Each individual prompt completed by a member(of their character) will earn 3 points to the team.
2. Each team task completed by team will earn 6 points to the team. Buddy reading and extra review points will also be added.

Extra Scoring:-
-JULY BOTM: Each book read by a participant will give 6 points to the team. It won’t be counted under any prompt. Additionally, the participant should also participate in BOTM discussion.
-Buddy Read: 3 points
-Review: 2 Points
Page Count Scoring: For every book above 300 pages-
301-400: 2 points
401-500: 3 points
501-600: 4 points
601-700: 5 points
701 and above: 7 points.
- Additionally, if a team member reads the book on which their team is based, then the team will get 4 points. This won't be counted under any prompt but BR and review points will be added.

6. Read a book with a side character who helps the MC and/or is important throughout the book.

8. Read a book where the character struggles through a mental illness or condition.

- Gale Hawthorne
1. Read a book with a Mc who’s 18 years old or turns 18 in the book
2. Read a book with predominantly black cover, around 90%
3. Read a book where the MC wants to uproot a dominant ruler or a king.
4. Read a book where the Mc has at least two younger brothers.
5. Read a book featuring snares/traps/revenge plot.
6. Read a book where the MC is a brutal killer/wouldn’t hesitate to kill someone.
7. Read a book with a MC who has anger issues.
8. Read a book which was published in year 2000 or earlier.

- Haymitch Abernathy
1. Read a book with a multi-dimensional MC.
2. Read a book where the MC suffered through pain/despair/loss, in their past.
3. Read a book with a MC who is flawed.
4. Read a book with a title having at least four unique letters from “Haymitch”.
5. Read a book with a cover having at least 15% white and 40% black color.
6. Read a book with a MC who is a teacher/mentor or any such role/profession
7. Read a book with main focus on a student-teacher relationship (as of Haymitch and Katniss)
8. Read a book which is blunt/controversial.

- Finnick Odair
1. Read a book with a MC who is manipulative/cocky in attitude
2. Read a book with a character who appears late in the book but is very important to the plot.
3. Read a book where the MC keeps many secrets/lies a lot.
4. Read a book with a MC who flirts/seduces shamelessly
5. Read a book where the MC has a deep rooted fear but a calm exterior.
6. Read a book with a predominantly brown cover, at least 90%
7. Read a book having 4 in title
8. Read a book with a MC with blue color eyes.

- President Snow
1. Read a book with MC being a king or a ruler of some sort.

hi Val! I love the team tasks you selected but unfortunately, I don't own Red Rising and One Foot in the Grave, so I don't think I will be able to read them. But I'm all in with Crier's War and The Fifth Season, they've been sitting in my tbr way too long.
