I just finished "Who Goes There?" by John W. Campbell, and I highly recommend it. It is the novella (75 pages) that inspired the films "The Thing from Another World (1951)" and John Carpenter's "The Thing (1982). Such a great story! it is actually Sci-fi horror and I recommend it to fans of either genre. it is quite accessible as well. If you want a list of where to find it you can message me here on Goodreads.

The Bookclectic (thebookclectic) | 2 comments Oh I picked up Frozen Hell which is the same book I think. The cover is great! Shawn D. Standfast was talking about it in a recent video, but I may be remembering that incorrectly.

You are right! It is the same story, but with a lot more content. Campbell's original was found with 45 extra pages and now it has been published with those pages. They published it with the title Frozen Hell. I will get that as soon as I can!

The Bookclectic (thebookclectic) | 2 comments Shawn and I will both be reading it Thursday!
