i am not scared, I'm not getting why its a big deal of it being compared to PJO. Books are compared all the time, the intent is to drive fans of one fandom to check it out. And in this case i get the comparison. Both the characters are of the same age and have a similar humor. The chapter headings are also similar. Ch 1 is 'i accidently vaporize' for both. Comparing 2 books and saying they are similar does not mean they are the same or that they have no unique elements, or that they can't stand on its own.

Yes, I was about to say the same. It's okay if u compare books. It doesn't take away the uniqueness of the book. And having totally opposite opinion on books is also okay. Just bcz they dnt have the same reading taste as you, doesn't have to change it for you.
