Mineomaniac | 8 comments I wanted to add some works by a favorite author from the 60s/70s whose work isn't listed, but at least one of his books was only published in a magazine and never was released as a standalone title. Would I be able to list this, and if so, how?

Emily | 17476 comments No, if a story was only published in an anthology or magazine and never on its own, it isn't allowed by itself per Goodreads policy.

So what would be the listing strategy? Would one make an entry for the issue of the magazine?

Clarkesworld

If a magazine has an ISBN or Kindle ASIN for a specific issue, then it would be allowed. Most magazines have ISSNs or nothing at all.
