So I'm reading the original Winnie-the-Pooh (A.A. Milne) and I was wondering about the sequels. I looked it up and I found one of the few sequels actually written by the O.G. author is House At Pooh Corner. Then I found out that there's also Return to Hundred Acre Wood and The Best Bear In All The World, which aren't by the O.G. author.
I was wondering if these are considered canon? Not a lot of people care what Winnie-the-Pooh canon is, but yeah. They were approved by the estate, but weren't written by A.A. Milne (The Best Bear In All The World is actually quite recent, 2016), and they introduce really unknown characters, such as Penguin and Lottie. No one knows who they are, and I think 4 years is enough to get to know a popular character.
So, if you do read Pooh, do you consider the non-Milne sequels canon?
