Romance Novel, not sure if it's a book or a short story about a ballerina in New York (I think) who had an accident and it's Christmas and she has a hot husband

Hi!! So I read this story a while back maybe 2012 no later than 2018, and it was about this ballerina who was exiting the rehabilitation because of this car accident and her husband (or ex dunno) is waiting for her and he is super supportive but shes like ''I'm done i cant take it, my life has ended in that car accident and I have the scars to prove it'', so she runs and meets this sweet elder man at a park and they have tea at his place, he tells her his love story with his dead wife, so she returns and conciliates with her husband.

So I do think there's sex in the story not sure it's graphic tho, i do remember that it was Christmas or close to, I think it was placed in New York because of the snow (again... not sure), I remember that the husband was proscribed has big and that he could carry her easily (maybe a football player or some really buffed entrepreneur)
