Nominating guidelines:
- Fiction (original & translation, if applicable) first published between January 1, 2000 and August 1, 2020. For translations the latter date must be an English edition.
- One nomination per person (please do not nominate or vote for a book unless you are certain you can read and discuss if it wins)
- A book this group has not yet read (see the group bookshelf or the Index of all Group Reads here)
- A book that is not better suited to the wild card (genre) category

I nominate All Over Creation by Ruth Ozeki (pub 2003, 432 pp).

I'd like to nominate Mr. Loverman by Bernadine Evaristo. I've been wanting to read more of her work since reading Girl, Woman, Other.

But I'm also torn because I also want to read Aubrey's nomination!

Dang I want to read both and am tempted to not vote for mine! Aubrey, whichever book doesn't win, let's nominate it again for September. :)

So far, it is looking like a runaway win for Mr Loverman, and having nominated it myself a couple of years ago I am pleased to see it doing better this time round. The most enjoyable of the four pre-GWO Evaristo books I have read.
