Sean was way to invested in the outcome of this mission. Kane did the right thing in trying to keep him in a support role. Sean resented that, but it was the right thing to do, until it all went sideways and Sean had to take a pivotal role.Sean resented being kept on the sidelines and that hurt their relationship, but I don't think the damage is long term.
Kane was right to try to keep Sean on the sidelines for this mission. Sean wasn't thinking straight at all. I think once Jesse was rescued and safe, Sean realized that Kane was right.
I agree with you all. The mission was too personal for Sean. If he acted impulsively it could put more people at risk, including his brother. I do think Sean and Kane work well together.I don't think it hurt his relationship with Kane. Once the mission was over, Sean would understand the decision.
I feel like this case brought them closer. They worked well together and it showed Sean how much family means to Kane. He was willing to risk himself to save Sean's son.I agree that the mission was too personal for Sean as well. Kane making decisions without knowing made sense,
I thought the case brought them closer, too. Both learned more about each other and their trust deepened. They worked extremely well together, especially when you contrast it with his operations with Duke.
