Siobhan was able to take a picture of a group of the people leaving the house on El Gato Street who were later identified through the work of law enforcement agencies. Did you have any idea at the time that it would be so pivotal in the investigation and, later, in the one in Mexico?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments That picture gave everyone a starting place in order to unravel the tangled web of people and companies. I knew it was important.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I agree, Anita. The whole process of identifying the people in the picture was the cornerstone to the case.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree. The picture gave the team a place to start. I did expect the investigation to be more than local. Most of these books brings more than one investigation together; I wasn't surprised that the pictures took them to Mexico.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments Without that picture the case probably wouldn't have been solved. It was a smart move on Siobhan's part.
I agree with Sharon, I wasn't surprised that the case involved Mexico.

I knew her picture would be crucial to the investigation in Laredo but had no idea of its farther reaching impact on Sean and Kane’s mission. That one picture brought down the whole operation.
