Heroine's reputation destroyed through the internet

As far as I recall, the heroine had been a STUDENT (possible law or politics) until her REPUTATION had been DESTROYED due to a vindictive ex-boyfriend (?) who EXPOSED her ON THE INTERNET (maybe a photo in the nude or something similar).

As her reputation was destroyed, she had to give up her studies/education. She had to deal with the repercussions for years (?) as the internet does not forget anything. I think she received help from a NEIGHBOUR / HERO who might be suffering from some kind of AUTISM / ASPERGERS and then begins to fight back. I don't exactly know if there is a love story as well.

I know my summary is very vague, but I read this plot some time ago on Goodreads, but unfortunately forgot to set a bookmark. I would really appreciate any help finding especially this book. Any other recommendations dealing with this plot would be welcome, too.
