Children's book about colors. With a silly family and a different color on each page

My daughter is desperate to find a book we used to have. It was kind of old and missing pages and we got it in 2015 or 2016. It was a thin softcover picture book, maybe published in the 1990s (give or take a decade). I believe it was a part of a series. The other books may have been number or alphabet books but I'm not sure.
This book was about colors and it featured a big and silly family (maybe last name Mopp?). Each page featured a different color and another step on their zany adventure. One page was yellow and was about them getting ready and packing their car. Another page was blue and there was a boat and people swimming (the grandma was knitting on a boat). One page was at a farm (orange?) and picking apples (green?). They ran into a circus as well.
