Plot cont...... Book starts female hero saving 2 children from a transport boat that flys around the inside of a space station. Once rescue is over they discover by a marking she has on her arm she is a missing child of their race and demand she is returned to her people whether she like it or not. .. Later she enters a space board/hover board race under a previous identity she was a champion at the sport. As a child she was kidnapped from her plant and placing into a camp where her and other children were experimented on. When she escaped her childhood friend died but his sole was transferred into a drone like object. I hope someone know what book this is.
