Fairly behind on my X-reading, and not loving that they just finished a big event ten minutes ago, only to have another one. Will probably just read the tie in issues of titles I already read.
So:
Hellions
X-Corp
Loving Hellions, but the whole focus of that book is pointing out how messed up the mutant utopia is.
Have you checked out Way of X? That's been pretty good so far. It also questions some of what is happening on Krakoa.
I only read a couple X-titles:Hellions
X-Factor
X-Corp
X-men Legacy
Lots of good ideas out there, but I can't afford to pick up 10 titles, not to mention, I don't love the idea that I have to get them all in order to understand the story.
Rumor has it X-factor is getting canceled, so I may give Excalibur or Way a try.

I hear you. Buying print copies adds up quickly. Between just the X-titles and Batman titles alone my wallet gets hit hard. I agree the X-Men stuff is frustrating with little room to breath between large events and every title being interconnected.
X-Factor is ending after the next issue. Leah Williams is going to writing either a one-shot or mini series Trial of Magneto that I believe stems from stuff that happens at the Gala.

Again, Hickman and company have some great ideas, but the execution is a mess.
If I need a spread sheet and wikipedia to follow a story, you are doing something wrong.
I like a couple of the titles, but I'm also in the betting pool on when it all crashes and has to be fixed by someone else.

Marauders #21
X-Force #20
Hellions #12
Not off to a strong start in my opinion. The kickoff in Marauders didn't reveal much. In fact, it went too far out it's way not to reveal anything of substance. X-Force was a little better but not by much. I really enjoyed Hellions but it didn't get into anything about the Gala itself. It was more a setting for the characters to interact than an event that had any real relation or significance to the team.
