New month, new post! Today I'd like to ask you, my friends, about the book(s) that really changed your lives. What was the point that made you reflect on yourself, maybe decide that you really cared about something or vice versa? For me, the book that really changed me as a person was QUEER: The Ultimate LGTB Guide for Teens .
It was my first blatant contact with anything queer and helped me understand better as a person (and as a queer transgender individual). It also made me want to become more involved in my local PRIDE centers.
So what about you? Has a work ever had a profound effect on you?
