I started this today. I'm just over 100 pages in.

Through Chapter 11

(view spoiler)[This read is a bit slow for me. Mainly because I don't think there's been any real 'action' yet. It's too soon to tell what's going to happen.

Life with her mom:
Duke seems like one of those guys who you judge by the cover but turns out to be totally different.

I'm liking Laila. It upsets me that she her dad is so...troublesome.

Life with her dad:
I like Trevor. It seems he has a backstory and I want to know what it is. Addie doesn't really seem to be fitting in though. She really is an outsider. Both literally and figuratively.

One thing I noticed though, this 'Poison' person.He's in both of her 'lives'. The norm and the paranormal. I smell a rat. (hide spoiler)]

I enjoyed it quite a bit. There were parts that dragged but I got through them. I kept forgetting to update and then it got interesting so I just finished it instead.

(view spoiler)[I was wondering what path she'd choose. Both paths seemed great for a while. Trevor was a really nice guy and I liked that he understand and wasn't selfish about Addie choosing the other path (Laila died. If he told her to choose him, he'd have been a jerk)

Duke on the other had was a jerk. One thing Addie made clear was how she hated people influencing her and he lied about being a mood controller and influenced her. I can't believe that the whole football team was in on hurting the Norm guys. (hide spoiler)]

I can't wait to pick up Split Second. 3.5 stars from me.

My only problem with this book was that (view spoiler)[no matter what path she chose her friend was going to have something bad happen to her (hide spoiler)]. I just felt that was a bad way to end it. Split Second was a really good book. You should enjoy it.
