Hello. This is a children's book, told in third person point of view about a four year old girl named Bonnie(I think) who lived in the mountains with her big family and they interact with other families who live there. I think at one point she got lost in the mountains and I think she gets really excited in the end because she got to go to school with her big sister. And I think the book starts out with her wanting to go sledding with her older siblings but her mother tells her she's too young. I think it had a baby pink cover with mountains on it.

Maybe the Fairchild Family Stories Series by Rebecca Caudill? The first book in the series is Happy Little Family:
