I gotta say, for the most part I thought that was going to be my opinion too. While I was reading the book, I didn't find it so special, but it kinda grew slowly on me... And at the end I was crying even though I obviously saw it coming from a mile away. It disarmed me, reminded me of the kid I used to be, and for that it deserves my praise. But I get it if other people feels cheated, I really thought that was going to be me too.
