St. Luke is mentioned in the Bible in several epistles by St. Paul. The Acts of Apostles also tells indirectly about him, through the use of the first or the third person in the narration. Do you think St. Luke's history in this novel is true to what we know about him, apart from legends and other insecure information?

It all seems to happen so swiftly after Jesus death and resurrection--but Caldwell never mentions Pentecost!
It was quite a while between the time Saul/Paul became a believer and the time he was sent out on mission, and Luke joins him quite a bit later.

I agree, Jill. I don't think this matches up well with the biblical accounts.
