Carolien (carolien_s) Jeffrey Siger posts on the Murder is Everywhere blog on Saturdays. So, if you want to get in the mood for this book, have a look at his beautiful photographs of the various Greek islands.

Jim Hession | 9 comments This book was disappointing. I loved learning about the island of Mykonos and the protagonist, Andreas, was interesting, but the plot was just a run of the mill chase the serial killer story. The twist at the end was also interesting but not enough to redeem the story.

Carolien (carolien_s) I agree with you, Jim, that the plot is pretty straight forward for a serial killer story. Like you, I love the setting and learning about the church architecture. I like Andreas Kaldis and Tassos turns out to be an interesting character.

In Jeff's article on Saturday, he had a nice map of the islands which makes it easy to see the location of Syros in comparison to Mykonos.
