This book was disappointing. I loved learning about the island of Mykonos and the protagonist, Andreas, was interesting, but the plot was just a run of the mill chase the serial killer story. The twist at the end was also interesting but not enough to redeem the story.
I agree with you, Jim, that the plot is pretty straight forward for a serial killer story. Like you, I love the setting and learning about the church architecture. I like Andreas Kaldis and Tassos turns out to be an interesting character. In Jeff's article on Saturday, he had a nice map of the islands which makes it easy to see the location of Syros in comparison to Mykonos.
