Books about loneliness and obsession set in Turkey

Hi all...I'm looking for a translated Turkish novel about a lonely and obsessive protagonist (preferably female), more on the psychological thriller side but any genre is alright. If nothing comes to mind then please recommend your best Turkish books in English translation, other than Memed My Hawk. Thank you :-)

You can try Hakan Günday's The Few.
It's about hopeless girl. very interesting psychological book.

Madonna in a Fur Coat (not a female protagonist) came to my mind first. I also recommend A Mind at Peace, The Book of Devices, Elif Shafak's books. Also we have Orhan Pamuk books in English translation but he is not my favorite. You decide for yourself.
