I’m on ch 23. Nathaniel’s story is sad but I like him. About Silas, I think it was a valid reason and perhaps he’s becoming more human since he felt pain. Prendergast’s reaction was justified in a way I guess.

i LOVED the epilogue - i'm a sucker for good endings lol

i feel like we could've gotten a better explanation as to why librarians dislike sorcerers? not sure if i missed something but i never really got why elisabeth was raised to hate them 🤔

sooo usually if i loved a book (like i loved this one) i'd want it to be a series, but i feel like this one was actually good as a standalone? idk why lol

Great answers! I pretty much agree with everything you said, except I kind of want it a series loll.

My favorite character was also Silas, maybe Elisabeth. There was a lot of development in both characters which made it an enjoyable read.

I also didn't understand why the hate for sorcerers. Maybe since they were unfamiliar with magic, they just deemed it evil?
