I didn’t know much about Beach Read. Had come into it with low expectations, just expecting to read something to get ready for summer but I actually really, really liked it!

Listened to it on audio but couldn’t put it down. It was sarcastic with just the right amount of steaminess. The main characters are both writers so their back and forth banter is very witty. I really fell in love with the characters.

It does explore losing a parent but it’s beautifully told.

Overall, it was a perfect book for me to kick off summer and it made me want to read more from this author.

Wondering other people’s thoughts ☺️ I have added People We Meet on Vacation on my TBR list from the same author.

i’m so glad you liked it! i wasn’t a big fan of the characters which kinda made it unenjoyable for me.
