Desired "The Host" Cast

With Stephanie's actors in mind I sort of recast my little dream team, keeping some of my favorites and not changing hers:

Melanie/Jennifer Garner (just because it's too funny AND it fits visually)

Wanda & Pet/Saoirse Ronan & Jami/Harry Treadway (He did City of Ember with Saoirse and resembles, in my opinion Jennifer.)


Since this is an older cast in the book with the exceptions of Jami and Pet/Wanda, I went with an older cast. Saoirse is too young to play Wanda/Pet but whomever else plays her also needs silver eyes, strawberry blond hair and look very young for her age and innocent enough that everyone will want to instinctively protect/touch her.

Tooo young. Mel's 17 when she first meets Jared but she's in her late 20's when she is implanted with Wanderer.

Marie Elizibeth Winstead is 25, and Melanie is 20 years old. Wikipedia:

"Melanie is a 20-year-old human who managed to escape capture by the invading souls for years"

Even taking the "years" part into context, Marie isn't too young.

Well it's relatively hard to find unknowns. Mainly because they are "unknown". And we can't really just pick one, and find a picture somewhere to show everyone, as that's what this thread is all about, because unknowns are unlikely to have pictures floating around. But you do have a point, Roxy. Who would you choose?

Those first three are Stephenie Meyer's picks, the rest are mine. I find it Humorous that if that were the cast, in RL Jenn is Married to Ben, playing Kyle would try to kill her but have no romantic play and she'd be kissing both his brother AND his best friend in RL because they would make up the two angles of their love rectangle! Tee hee hee!
