The Death Cure question

I cryed, I sobbed, I screamed, I jumped on my bed,.... I could't understand why someone so kind and sweet and perfect can just die... I still can't understand it :(

I would much rather Minho or Thomas or Brenda die instead of Newt. He is the best fictional character in the history of fictional characters :(

The author chose him because he knew he was a favorite. It showed that the Flare could happen to anyone. I cried and Newt is forever my favorite character.

so sad right? but....he had been through a lot - getting an injury that kept him from being a runner and you could see that it was getting to him more and more as the story went on, so i'm not surprised. sad - FOR SURE but not uber surprised.
