Welcome to the Ana on the Edge Buddy Read Discussion thread! This thread officially opens on June 8th and anyone can join at any time. Please keep in mind that spoilers are allowed in this thread but only up to the group's current reading place. Do not spoil the book if you've read further than the group. Any extra days can be used to catch up!

Each day we will be reading by chapters or page numbers. Page numbers are an approximation based on the hardcover or paperback that is the default on Goodreads. The suggested Buddy Read discussion schedule is as follows:

Week of 06/08
08: breathe in-8
09: Chapter 9-17
10: Chapter 18-26
11: Chapter 27-breathe out

Gaea | 138 comments Started late, whoops. I'm on chapter 3 right now! So far it's okay - the writing style feels simplistic to me and I'm interested but not hooked (yet?).

Abigail | 210 comments All good, I'm also a bit behind. I'm on chapter 10! I agree that it's a bit simple, but I don't mind because it makes for a pretty easy read. The book surprised me a bit with the actual detail around Ana's skating. I've read other books with figure skater main characters and they've never had the same level of detail.

Gaea | 138 comments I think it helps that the author is a professional skater too? I like the fact that all these skating details have been put in but without sounding forced.

Abigail | 210 comments I agree, it definitely helps. True! It feels right for the story
