Yes, (view spoiler)[ bittersweet is the perfect way to describe this ending! I was surprised how much I ended up enjoying this. I liked Robbie in the other books, but not quite as much as the other members of the pack, but he really grew on me in this book. I do feel like the books follow the same "formula" though...it kind of feels like a soap opera episode, but I still REALLY love these books! So glad I read this one! (hide spoiler)]
