YA novel. Asian family (last name possibly Park?). Main character girl embarrassed her family drives a Cadillac and not a newer/smaller car. Please help! I know I read it in middle school (so around 2006-2010???) and it’s driving me crazy that I can’t remember!

Was the girl a teenager or a younger child?I think Park is a Korean surname. The girl and her family were Korean American? Were the parents immigrants? Was the girl born in the US?
I can’t remember the age of the girl. But I believe her family were Asian American immigrants now that I think about it because she was embarrassed about having basically a poor family’s car (the Cadillac). For some reason, I feel like they lived in San Francisco but I don’t know if that’s a real memory or something that’s getting jumbled up with it.
Update: I FOUND it!! Ultimately it helped having y’all summon the memory that they were in America and we’re immigrants from Korea. The book is A Step From Heaven by An Na! I think I remembered the Cadillac part slightly wrong, but it was definitely a key theme!
