Just the cover alone has me hyped! I'm from the UK so I'm already planning on ordering both versions from Book Depository if I like the series 😂 I have the first few with the UK covers but the US ones are really stunning, I'm so jealous haha.

Yes the covers are pretty! I have the US covers even though I’m from the UK haha I got mine from eBay for a good price; most were like £6-7 each so not too bad 😊 But I really hope you and the others like the series as it really deserves more appreciation and hype. I hope in doing this read-along more people will know about it and spread some love. 🥰❤️
i’m still a little confused about how the series is read in general. is each book technically/can be read as a stand alone?

Each book especially after the first 3 books act as standalones; following a different couple each time with their own story but with an overarching plot in the background.
Of course I advise reading them in the order of publication as it’s telling the story but technically they can be read as standalones. ❤️

I thought I’ll make some trigger warnings for the group as I don’t want to accidentally cause any of you to feel uncomfortable or to trigger any memories that cause you pain. 😊
Trigger warnings:
Blood and gore
Violence
Mentioned of sexual assault
Mentioned of death of loved ones
Explicit sexual smut (not cringe imo)
Overall, dark gritty themes in the book, but nonetheless respectable and done well imo.
However, the series is really diverse with a bunch of different characters who are from all sorts of ethnicities and is presented well. The series is good at diversity in all genres and representation. 💕
Diversity/representation:

LGBT is mentioned with characters- but be aware that is mostly heterosexual relationships.

But the characters are so lovable and develop so much that it makes the heavier topics feel lighter as the characters are trying to overcome their issues with the help from their friends and family.❤️
