Memoir about group of feral cats. Read around 2017.

Okay, so a few years ago—probably back in 2017–I had been browsing on goodreads and came across this woman’s account.

I looked through her reviews and lists, and found this book that I remember being nonfiction, more specifically a memoir. It was either that, or a fiction book that read that way. If I am recalling this correctly, it was the story of her interactions with and detailings of, a group of feral cats in her area. It was quite sad in that she scribed everything from kitten births to cat deaths. It is NOT Call of the Cats by Andrew Bloomfield. It was written by a female author.

I have tried long and hard to find this lady’s account and this book, but to no avail. I must’ve forgotten to add it to my to-read list. If somebody knows of this book, I would be eternally grateful.
