This folder is for discussing specific books, series, and authors. And children's movies based on same.

It is not a promotional folder. It is not for illustrators, either, as we have a different folder for discussions of illustrative arts.

Authors, Cheryl’s introductory post clearly states that this is NOT a promotional folder.

And yes, any author promoting his or her work in this folder is in fact breaking the group rules and will have his or her topic deleted.

If you are seeking to promote your own work, you MUST do this in the author/promotional section, and nowhere else.

And sadly, authors have once again been using this folder to inappropriately post about their own books.

The ONLY place authors are allowed promote their own books or post about their own books is in the author/promotional section (folder) and any author promotional posts that appear elsewhere are contrary to group rules and will be deleted post haste.

And I really do not understand why this keeps being such an issue. The group rules about self promotion are in my humble opinion self explanatory, and the first topic for this folder (which is always front and centre) equally points out very clearly that this section is not for author self promotion.
