I'm looking for an SF short story published before 1965.
The plot revolves around the arrival of benevolent aliens who present humans with a wealth of gifts.
Towards the end of the story, however, someone discovers that the aliens have the ability to communicate with their dead, prompting the question: why this wasn't included with the other gifts?
