and also I feel like the world building is not entirely clear. I feel like I need to know more about the world.
The writing is good. I am excited to know what will happen next.

Tal's blood is silver, how is it possible that the destroyer never saw his blood before even though he had been injured many times in front of her?

That ending was good especially the bonus story. I liked it so much.
I just can't get over the fact that some of the characters made stupid choices. Saacha's character was so weird. How could she lead her own daughter to death??

The ending and the hint that Tal and Elodie were lonely because of how everyone treated them was so sad.
