I finished today's and I'm liking it so far. I mean it's definitely a very classic ya storyline and has a lot of overused tropes but so far I'm enjoying it
yeah I don't really know what to think about her either but she is definitely not one of my favorite MCs
but she's not the worst I've read either
"not like other girls" personality; ordinary girl from a small village suddenly has extraordinary powers; thinks she is plain/ugly but immediately has not one but two extremely handsome men already in love with her
also I love Lucas Samos, so far he's one of my favorite characters
Lucas is her guard (and Evangeline's cousin)

yeah I'm around there too but I'm going to read more of it today. it's pretty good so far, not a whole lot has happened yet but hopefully that will change soon. I want to like Shade, he seems cool and I like his power too
also where do you stand on the whole Maven/Mare/Cal thing? she's probably going to end up with Cal. I don't really have strong feelings about him either way, he's just kind of boring to me. I liked Maven a lot more and the chemistry between him and Mare was better in my opinion
