I don't know if it was a balm so much as the realization that Kevin had an impact on a young boy that will change his future. Geoffrey will never forget Kevin that's for sure.

It made me feel better that Kevin’s last act produced courage in this young man. What better way to honor him! I felt like Kevin didn’t die in vain.

It was a lovely tribute to a fair dinkum hero as us Aussies would say. No doubt it has changed Geoffrey's life and Kev Dawson will never be forgotten. But at such a cost for his family and police family. 😢
