These are all kids of privilege. Each one is spoiled rotten. I don't think anything that doesn't revolve around them personally, phases them. I did expect someone to show a little compassion though.
It was disheartening but felt very real. None of them wanted this "trouble" in their (seemingly) perfect world.
Heathrest Academy reminded me of The Stepford Wives. Appearances, pedigree and image seemed to be the only important issues there. So heartless and shallow no wonder poor Sadie didn't fit in.
It was distressing. These kids are too young to be this heartless and cynical. Their lack of empathy is what made me highly suspicious that’s something sinister was going on at that school.
It was just sad that Sadie had no friends among the students. And their lack of empathy just upset me. What kind of people are they?
